World Indoors: Demario Prince into men’s 60m final at World Indoor Championships
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Demario Prince qualified for the finals of the men’s 60m hurdles on Saturday’s second day of the World Athletics Indoor Championships at Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in Toruń, Poland after placing second in his semi-final heat in 7.53 seconds.
The Baylor University athlete ran faster than his first round 7.58 seconds to take his place in the final set for later in the day. He finished behind American Trey Cunningham who ran a personal best 7.35 seconds.
Jerome Campbell who advanced from the morning session’s first round, finished eighth in his semi-final after he hit the first hurdle and never recovered. He was later disqualified.
