Edwin Allen, JC in control as Champs heads into final day

Edwin Allen looks set to return to the throne, while Jamaica College continues to charge towards Champs glory as both teams take big leads into the final day of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships inside the National Stadium.

After losing their crown to Hydel in 2025, Edwin Allen look set to claim an 11th hold on the girls’ title after amassing 151.5 points after 23 of 46 finals. They lead Hydel by 35.5 points heading into Saturday’s finale.

JC’s athletes have been firing on all cylinders and with 189 points (after 21 of 42 finals) to their credit, old foes Kingston College, who are 67 points behind, will require divine intervention to stop the boys from Old Hope Road.
