Fanatic brings Malie Donn to Kingston after 3 years
For the first time in three years, hot dancehall artiste Malie Donn will make a public performance in Kingston, at the July 4 staging of Fanatic, which will be held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.
The deejay, who is currently riding high with trending songs including Gospel Gangster, Reboot, Pop Bottles and Adios, has been on a hit streak since he emerged on the scene less than four years ago.
Justin Campbell, a director of Fanatic, told Observer Online on Friday that patrons should expect lots of surprises at the forthcoming staging.
“Patrons can expect just nothing short of a bunch of surprises. This will be the most exhilarating party that they’ve ever experienced. This is the most that we’ve ever invested into an event, because we care about giving our patrons the best experience ever,” said Campbell.
The event, which targets a primarily college and young adult crowd, was first held in 2022, and it has since attracted a massive turnout at each staging.
“We’ve had 10 stagings so far, so this will be our eleventh. This is set to be our biggest one yet. We have grown pretty consistently and we want to continue growth. We also believe that we have something special, and we guarantee the best sound quality, very seamless entry, affordability on liquor prices and new Fanatic cups, just for our patrons,” Campbell assured.
For the first time this year, Fanatic will host one of its stagings outside of Kingston, when it heads to Republic Beach Weekend.
Fanatic is held twice each year.
