Two derbies headline JFF Championships this weekend
ST ANN, Jamaica — Two parish derbies will headline this weekend’s start of the return round of the Jamaica Football Championships, Sakka Club BrownsTown against Lime Hall Academy at Drax Hall and Roaring River against Reno FC at Llandilo Sports Complex.
Sakka Club Browns Town, leaders in Zone A with 19 points from eight games, will be seeking to avenge their opening day loss to Lime Hall who are in third place on 14 points with a game in hand.
A point separates the Westmoreland teams who had drawn their opening game 1-1, Reno FC on 16 and Roaring River on 15, both from eight games played.
Also this weekend, Zone B leaders Humble Lion will host Duncans United who they had drawn 1-1 against in the first round while a resurgent Falmouth United travel to face STETHS Elite FA after they had shared points in a 2-2 draw in Trelawny in the first round.
