WATCH: Jamaica College and Edwin Allen celebrate Champs victories
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Celebrations are in full swing at Jamaica College and Edwin Allen High School following their respective wins at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships on Saturday.
Edwin Allen High delivered a dominant performance, amassing 338.5 points to secure their 11th title, since first winning in 2012. Meanwhile, Jamaica College captured their 23rd title with 345 points, continuing their strong legacy in the competition.
Both institutions celebrated the victories during general assembly on Monday, with students, staff and supporters turning out in high spirits to celebrate the achievements.
At Jamaica College, the festivities took place inside the Karl Hendrickson Auditorium, where students gathered to cheer on their team following the championships.
Over at Edwin Allen High, the celebrations spilt across the school compound, with supporters and students visibly excited as they celebrated the historic win. The school also paid tribute to late athlete Taneisha “Tan Tan” Gayle, who died after she collapsed during training in September 2025.
