Malie Donn closes Vacae Weekend with electrifying performance at Campari Sandz Festival

ST ANN, Jamaica – Vacae Weekend 2026 came to a close on Monday night with the staging of the Campari Sandz Festival, where rising dancehall artiste Malie Donn delivered a commanding performance that capped off an unforgettable Easter weekend in Ocho Rios.

Held at Plantation Cove, the event drew a large and vibrant crowd, with patrons turning out in strong numbers to experience the grand finale of the four-day entertainment series.

Known for its scale and production, Sandz once again lived up to expectations, combining live performances, top-tier DJs – Shukkle Bus, Chromatic, Donhot and Ricky Platinum – and immersive staging to create a standout closing experience.

Taking to the stage was one of Dancehall’s newest and brightest stars, Malie Donn. The V6 deejay captivated the audience with an energetic and engaging set, as he delivered a series of crowd-favourite tracks including 7:00 pm, Body Tea, and Dragga.

His performance kept patrons fully locked in, reinforcing his growing presence within the dancehall space.

Paired perfectly with the entertainer’s performance was this year’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme, which brought a bold visual identity to Campari Sandz.

From stage design to décor, the theme was executed seamlessly, enhancing the overall atmosphere and delivering a cohesive, visually striking experience.

Organisers say the execution of Sandz continues to reflect the growth and ambition of Vacae Weekend as a premium entertainment brand.

“This year, Sandz was all about delivering a strong finish to the perfect weekend. From the performances to the production, everything came together, and we continue to be proud of the excellent work the team does in bringing something this massive to life,” said CEO of Twenty14 Ltd, the organisers of Vacae Weekend, Andrew Ellis.

This year’s staging of Vacae Weekend was proudly supported by Campari Group, the official title sponsor, whose continued investment in Jamaica’s entertainment and cultural landscape played a key role in elevating the overall experience. Through its portfolio of premium brands, Campari Group enhanced multiple touchpoints across the weekend, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to supporting events that celebrate music, lifestyle and Caribbean culture.
