Douglas tops World Athletics rankings for women’s 100m & 200m

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica Shanoya Douglas has topped the World Athletics rankings with her performance times in the women’s 100m and 200m according to the updated World Athletics list.

Douglas finished with 10.98 seconds during the class 1 girls 100m at the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) Boys’ and Girls’ Championships and then went on to set a new national U-20 200m record with 22.11 seconds at the CARIFTA games weeks after.
