Jamaica’s Oshane Nation named among referees for 2026 FIFA World Cup

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Oshane Nation has been included in the list of referees to officiate at the FIFA World Cup set to be played across the USA, Canada and Mexico in June—July this year.

Nation is one of 52 referees who were selected according to a release on the FIFA website on Thursday and he is one of seven officials from the Concacaf region.

Eighty-eight assistant referees and 30 video assistant referees (VAR) were also named for the World Cup.
