Over 140 rounds of ammo seized in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica—The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reporting that 144 assorted rounds of ammunition were seized by the police during a joint police-military operation in Gold Smith Villa, Kingston 7, on Friday, April 10.
Reports from the Half-Way-Tree police are that between 5:00 am and 9:00 am, a team conducted an operation at a premises in the area.
During a search a brown shopping bag was observed in the pocket of a building block of a house.
It was retrieved and found to contain one hundred and fourteen 9mm and thirty .38 rounds.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
