Chentelle Swaby gets 50th cap, starts for Reggae Girlz against Antigua
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Chantelle Swaby will make her 50th appearance for Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz after she was named in the starting team to face Antigua and Barbuda in their Concacaf World Cup Qualifier at the National Stadium on Friday.
The Jamaican coaches have made five changes to the team that edged Nicaragua 3-2 in Managua in March with central defender Tianna Harris making her home debut.
Olufolasade Adamalekun, Kalyssa Van Zanten, Allyson Swaby, Kameron Simmonds and Atlanta Primus have also been given the nod to start the game.
The last time Jamaica played Antigua and Barbuda was in 2018 and Jamaica won that game 9-0.
