Half-Way-Tree still buzzing with talk of JN Group’s Easter Chorale
THE Jamaica National Group on Holy Thursday welcomed Easter and spurred reflection on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ through the staging of a chorale performance in the midst of bustling Half-Way-Tree, St Andrew.
Rising above the honking horns, busy pedestrians and vendors were the harmonious voices of the Kingston College Chapel Choir and the Immaculate Conception High School Choir, attracting passers-by, some of whom stopped — not merely to listen to or watch the performances, but to meditate on the sermons in song.
