Braywick Road, in Jack’s Hill, St Andrew, was party central, Thursday last, as Frenchmen shut down the strip with its signature soca street party Blocko.

Pulsating beats met flowing libations for the ultimate prelude to Carnival Weekend. Driven by the infectious rotations of DJs Marc Chin, Heavy D, and Papi Jae, the tempo never wavered, keeping partygoers on their feet throughout the night.

Page 2 has highlights.
