Shaggy – A true class act
Just when you thought that life is all about Kommoners and yes it’s spelt with a ‘K’, the Prime Minister’s Independence Gala broke the jinx and was truly a class act – Shaggy stole the show, and again as the Jamaica Tourist Board spokesperson. The international film crew and staff at Strawberry Hill are still talking about Shaggy’s professionalism – up at 5:00 am and still shooting at 11:00 pm. Class is just class. Thanks Shaggy for still being positive about Jamaica.
Sashi launched it’s 2001 concert at Irish Town and it’s going to be lots of fun between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.
Antoinette Haughton and Betty-Ann Blaine will tomorrow launch a new political party. We’ll support any party as long as Sleepless in Seattle is not a part of it.
And just when we thought all was lost – has anybody seen Mark McIntosh? Our own Jamaican Harvard graduate is wrapping up some work for Island before hopping back to Harvard this time for his law degree. Ladies, not only is he gorgeous but free, single, and disengaged.
Hollywood celeb, Sheryl Lee Ralph was on the rock and was spotted with the ‘velvet voice’ over Chinese food.
Well the finance man and part time jogger made it all the way to Canada or rather hurdled all the way to the Games – pity they did not strike gold together!!
Real estate is still big business and there’s no fire sale going on over those fabulous mansions.
The even more fabulous one is now ensconced in her own luxurious pad, thanks to Papa.
On the other side of the hill, the greedy one who stopped at nothing to get the still sparkling platinum is having sleepless nights as hubby has found a new voluptuous blonde playmate at Platinum (no pun intended). The Russian beauty plans to retire by year end. Our advise to you is to keep watching this spot.
A bientot
PS Tony Hart’s nephew David Pinto got married last week to Davina Soleyman of Junior Plus, Reading, St James.
The bride wore a Dolce and Gabbana gown and guests enjoyed themselves amongst the white orchids at Peter’s Point home at the bride’s parents, Berli and Eli of Geneva.
If you weren’t on this guest list you need a new group of friends. The couple will continue to call Good Hope Home.
Bryan Ferry just left “Emerald Seas” and Keith Richards his Shaw Park estate.
