Exotic Threads

What better way to understand the intricacies of colour than at the magnificent ceremonies leading up to Indian wedding?

Swathes of silk wrapped ever so elegantly, hands painted in henna and jewellery that becomes a tad more than arm candy and yes Sangeet, the classical music of India.

And so Friday last, the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel was transformed by stylist extraordinaire Ann Marie Wyss into an Indian temple and guests came beautifully attired to greet family and friends of the soon to be married Shalini Tewani and Pradeep Vaswani. Our style photographer Bryan Cummings captured a few of the beautifully clad.
