The Jamaica Pegasus Wedding Extravaganza

Throngs of people descended upon the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on March 12 and 13 to discover all the new offerings that wedding vendors had in store for the 21st century bride.

Under the theme ‘Magical Moments’, brides-to-be, mothers of the bride, future in-laws along with bridal hopefuls and curious passers-by were treated to beautifully decorated booths and tables filled with cakes, flowers, reception displays, and invitation samples – each playing that all-important role in executing that very special day. Wedding photographers too, had up images of their work on show for those in attendance, and booths with wedding rings and bridal jewellery had patrons ooh-ing and aah-ing at their bridal selection.

Future Events

Patrons were impressed from ceiling to floor, as Futurevents’ eye-catching display used the colours of the peacock feather ceiling centrepiece in their floral arrangements, wedding cake and light show.

This intriguing headpiece designed by Karl Brown, is from the Khalil’s Hatitude wedding collection.

Holborn Manor

The exhibition by Holborn Manor guesthouse and restaurant held a regal theme with their violet draped booth and exquisite cakes.

A deep violet tablecloth creates a lovely contrast against the silver and white accents of the place setting. We love too the fluttering violet butterflies of the centrepiece.

Lavender fondant covers this two-tier wedding cake, which is accentuated with silver and pearl beads and dusted with purple sugar crystals.

Done in classic white and topped with roses, this beautifully draped cake has pearl accents and is decorated to resemble lace.

Island Novelties

Sample wedding invitations samples hang from a silver tree while other custom-stationery and accessories such as programmes, cake boxes are on display in the Island Novelties booth.

Island gems

Islandgems introduced their bridal collection at the Jamaica Pegasus Wedding Extravaganza, which includes custom-made wedding bands, wedding jewellery and other accessories.

The spacious Tai Flora booth gave patrons a glimpse at how wonderful their wedding can be.

‘Tai the Knot’ with Rosé’ is the theme at the J Wray and Nephew bar.
