I was shopping for unique jewellery to send away to a relative in London with very eclectic taste in jewellery. It seemed only natural to go to Bianca — her works are one-of-a-kind and are more expressions of art than mere jewellery.I support the brand because… Bianca creates a personal shopping experience for me during our consultations and fittings; something which you don’t typically get in a retail atmosphere. I have watched the brand evolve tremendously in a short span of time and with it the level of craftsmanship of the pieces, all of which, by the way, are guaranteed under the brand’s warranty.I have about… six pieces in my collection right now. The number has dwindled a bit, as I have had to give away a few to friends who see them and literally take them off of me.My favourite is… The commemorative ‘peace’ that was created for me to celebrate Jamaica 50. It’s a set of onyx bracelets punctuated by emerald green agates. I felt that this was the perfect opportunity to showcase the immense talents of our Jamaican designers.I support the brand because… it’s made by an incredibly talented Jamaican woman. The ‘peaces’ are exquisitely crafted, timeless and beautiful. Whenever, I wear any of my Peace-is I can feel the positive energy that went into its creation!I have… 14 pieces in my collection. Some I bought and some I received as gifts.
