Vows — This Heart Is For You
JAMAICAN Dr Dahlia ‘Nicky’ McDaniel, CEO of two private community retail pharmacies and a private health centre, wed Irishman Gary Dickson, senior UK consultant to the Financial Investigation Division, Ministry of Finance, on Saturday, June 14 in Belfast, Ireland.
The wedding took place at the Culloden Estate and Spa. The couple met on a blind date at the Market Place. In fact, Gary spotted Dahlia putting the final touches to her look — something he found absolutely delightful. It proved to be the clincher!

The children, Zuri Shields (left) and Tabetha and Oliver Dickson, had as much fun as the adults.
On the programme the bride and groom cheekily used the logo styling of another famous couple… albeit in design, as in Dolce and Gabbana.
The couple, affectionately known to their neighbours as the Zebras, adorned their wedding cake with an appropriate decorative piece. The wedding programme included Joan Andrea Hutchinson’s poem Dis Yah Heart a Fi Yuh complete with English translation.

Poet Tanya Shirley and her hilarious British beau Alan Johnstone danced up a storm to the sounds of London-based DJ Mr Fixit.
