Fancy Schmancy Accoutrements

Who steps out the door without as much as a pair of earrings, a trendy necklace, your favourite handbag, or even a wristwatch these days? Accessories are a means of self-expression. Jewellery by Megan and Cinderella Hats accessories have been making the rounds at Corporate Area fashion shows recently. Your AW Fashion trend spotters spotlights artisans Megan McKain and Marcella James.

Megan McKain’s eponymous line of handmade jewellery employs standard goldsmithing techniques to create polished contemporary pieces made from an array of materials such as silver, copper, bronze, brass, aluminium, semi-precious stones, dyed wood, recycled buttons, dyed mother of pearl, and glass.

Cinderella Hats & Bridal House Company Limited is a group of second-generation milliners equipped with the experience, insight and tools to make fab headgear for all occasions. They manufacture hats and fascinators from almost any fabric or textile, and also make custom designs.
