Inside the mind of a jealous woman

BY KIMBERLEY HIBBERT

THEY say a jealous woman does better research than the FBI, and from hiring private investigators to using reverse psychology, women have resorted to various means to test their men’s fidelity. Below some confess to All Woman the schemes they’ve hatched to play detective in their relationships.

Rachel L:

I suspected he was cheating so what I did was to have a co-worker who he didn’t know approach him and from then I realised that even if he wasn’t cheating, the thought was there. He would bad-talk me to her to try and get in her pants. He said his wife was a nag and that he was unhappy in the relationship. Note that she also taped him saying this. It went on for about three months. He would invite her out and she would go and he bought her gifts. When it came to the point where he was adamant to get sexual with her, we planned it and I hid in her closet. She placed all the gifts on her bed and when he got there she told him she had thought about it and couldn’t go through with it anymore because she wasn’t ready for sex and respected the institution of marriage. He started getting loud and started hurling insults and I simply walked out of the closet and left him speechless. To cut a long story short, we are now separated because I really couldn’t build back that trust.

Anbell J:

I learnt his e-mail password, went in changed the password and changed his Facebook password too. I sat down for a week and went through all his inbox messages, sent messages, draft messages, and whatever was in his trash folder. I also printed them. Eventually I changed back his password and set up a phone alert so he could get back in without realising that I had been in it.

Julia T:

I have gone on his phone, searched his Instagram account, checked his messages and I’ve even responded to women who text and call him just to see if they get defensive. Once they become defensive and argumentative to me that’s not just a friendship. I also visited a girl’s home once. She texted him asking him to come pick her up. He was bathing when I saw the message, so I grabbed his car keys and funny enough, when I typed in her name there was a saved location. His vehicle is heavily tinted so I drove there with his phone, honked the horn, and she messaged to say, “forgot the gate code already?” then she opened the gate. I drove in and when she came out I rolled the window down and asked if she knew he was married. She was surprised but she decided to argue back so I argued back at her then drove back home. He faced my fury later on.

Erika D:

I would wait until he was sleeping and go through his Skype messages. That’s where he did his deeds and asked women for pictures of live webcam action, then he’d save their photos.

Gail I:

I had heard rumours that he was cheating so I told him I was going to visit my grandma in Negril. I left home early and left my car at my brother’s house. When I was certain he was at work I went back home and hid. To my surprise, evening came and there was no sign of him. So I came out and ate and sat in the living room in darkness until about 2:00 am. I heard the grille being opened, realised it was him, and ran back into hiding. Then I heard giggles and when he entered the room I heard two females talking. So to be sure I caught him red-handed I waited some more. During this time I fell asleep in the closet. Then I heard screaming and jumped. After that, the screaming turned to moans. I then opened the closet door and saw him having a threesome in our home. He didn’t even see me watching. It’s when I said, “How dare you!” that he looked up in shock and to be honest, every thing pop down then and there. I started throwing things, yelling, hitting him and I was just one hot mess. But many times unless you experience these things you’ll never know. What’s worse is that he wasn’t wearing a condom, so he would have exposed me to whatever these women had.

Audrey S:

While in high school I dated this very gullible guy. I had my friend steal his phone. When it was stolen he came to me and told me and I pretended not to know and told him I had a friend at one of the telecoms companies who could unlock it and figure out where it was, but there were a few security tests they had to pass. So he gave me all his security information and I went into the phone, found what I needed and told him they located it in the church bathroom. I hid the phone there and he went and found it. Eventually I told him I was the one who had it. I also went to all his classes at college and I would drive up to the campus if I couldn’t hear from him.

Kareen T:

The lengths I went to turned out to be pretty stupid but what happened was that he migrated to live abroad and I heard he had found someone and settled down. So I dropped out of university and went to live with him in the States for an entire year. When I returned to Jamaica he called and broke off the relationship.
