When a friend cuts you off for a boyfriend
Some people are unable to handle multiple relationships at once, and so when they find love, friendships often suffer. This is because they become so immersed in their partners, that there’s no room in their lives for anyone else.
What would you do if your friend cut you off for her new boo?
Sheron:
I would be extremely upset because relationships come and go but friendships are a lifetime bond that is necessary. Just because you found love doesn’t mean you should isolate yourself from the world.
ST:
I would not be mad at her for that because when you’re in love, you do things with whomever you are involved with. People need to understand their roles and their place and allow people to be adults.
Maxine:
I cut off a friend already for that same thing. She found a man and dropped me. It was like I was begging her for attention and I don’t play like that. Then when the man left her, she wanted to come around again.
Mark:
It is really a stupid decision to drop your friend because you have a new partner. In the end your friend is the one who will be there to comfort you and be there for you when that new boo is history. I am not saying you are not supposed to be attentive to your relationship, but manage your relationship wisely.
Nicole:
If a friend drops you because of a new relationship, you are better off without that friend.
