The Fall/Winter 2017 designer presentations crossed the finish line with Paris Fashion Week the penultimate destination in the global biannual fashion sprint that moves from New York to London, then on to Milan. Now minted runway regulars, the Jamaican model contingent gave a dominant showing in the City of Lights, popping up everywhere — with Saint’s four-woman squad of Naki Depass, Tami Williams, Barbra Lee Grant and newcomer Tashi Van Banton and Pulse’s Alicia Burke — from Karl Lagerfeld’s glittery spaceship-themed Chanel collection to creative director Bill Gaytten’s 1940’s-inflected collection for John Galliano.
