If you were given the chance to change something about your past, what would you change?
‘IF only I could turn back the hands of time…’ This is an impossible desire many people wish could come true when they reflect on the past.
Sometimes people make mistakes that they can never recover from; for some it takes a long time to get back on their feet. What would you change if you had a chance to?
Elizabeth B, 50:I would never date my child’s father. He was not supportive financially, and it was difficult for me.
Lisa H, 40:If I could go back in time, I would have taken my education more seriously. I wasted a lot of time in my young days. I learned the hard way, that’s why I see to it that my children get an education.
Kimberley I, 37:Move in with my ex. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I was too young and definitely not ready for that. I got stuck with two young kids, which we could hardly afford. It took me years to go back to school and start fresh.
Kemar G, 36:I would marry someone else. I’m not happy with my marriage.
Samantha M, 30:Wow, what would I change? I would take my mother’s advice about relationships. If I did, I wouldn’t end up with an irresponsible father for my child.
Keisha H, 30:Some good came from it, but if I had a time machine to rewind time, I wouldn’t have approached my college boyfriend.
Michael W, 27:I would choose different friends in high school. They were a bad influence. If I didn’t associate with them I would have reached further in life.
