The sweet taste of karma
Admit it or not, it’s somewhat comforting when the person who did you wrong stumbles upon the sweet taste of retribution. It is not nice to gloat, but sometimes karma can give you the closure you need to move forward. Should you really be happy if your ex got exactly the same treatment he served you before the collapse of the relationship?
CG:
A week after my ex dumped me for the same woman he said he couldn’t stand at work, he got hurt in a freak accident at home. His family reached out to me but I dismissed their calls. I heard he almost lost his leg after he collapsed in the shower. He didn’t lose a limb and I am grateful he didn’t, but I got some peace after his family reached out and I blocked them all. They saw how serious I was after the way he did me and they all covered his tracks.
Bridgette:
My ex got used by his woman. I remember asking him to take me to this hotel and he found all the excuses in the world why he couldn’t. A few days after we broke up I was going thorugh my social media accounts and I saw a picture of him and this woman at the same place I’d begged him to take me. But not only did the girl empty his house of his furniture, he recently found out he has herpes. I stayed with that guy for seven years of my life. I was faithful and had his back when no one else did. After I heard what happened, the truth is, I was happy!
TW:
My ex would come home and complain about his annoying coworker and how she was this and that. It was like clockwork to predict the evening conversations between us. The same woman texted me one day that she was pregnant for him. He then got involved with her and she had another child. He found out recently that none of the children are his and she has been sleeping with two other men at his office. Talk about revenge. Now he is calling me to vent.
Michelle:
I was really happy when I heard that the woman my ex left me to be with cheated on him with one of his close friends. He dished me dirt for cheating on him with a stranger and dumped me, only to stumble on worse.
Mishka:
I helped my ex to purchase his car, and when he got the car he left me. I heard he had to sell the car and the girl he was dating used up all his savings and left.
