AW FASHION – Ladies’ and Gents’ Trend Alert!

After decades of separating the two, minimalism and maximalism appear to have joined forces based on the Spring/Summer 2019 collections.

All Woman Fashion (AWF)

shares notes from Alexander McQueen’s hose-like sleeves on patchwork mohair sweaters for gents, and ostentatious heirlooms to Valentino’s sheer accordion dress complete with Elizabethan collar, and ecote-coloured bishop-sleeved midi dresses. From Mame and Paco Rabanne came master classes in layering textures and prints. The gents are not left out.

references the 2018/19 lookbooks to present 12 sartorial servings from the recent global fashion weeks.
