United for The Woman King

THE United Way of Jamaica (UWJ) has for the past 36 years mobilised resources to transform lives across Jamaica in the sectors of education, health, and income generation. The organisation has been able to achieve sustained impact over the years from the monetary contributions of individuals and corporate entities toward various initiatives that seek to create social value.

As part of its fund-raising activities for 2022, the UWJ hosted the movie premiere of The Woman King starring Viola Davis and featuring our very own actress Lashana Lynch at the Palace Cineplex recently. Here are some highlights:
