Executive and Director Appointments

Lesley Miller has been appointed as corporate secretary for and to the board of General Accident Insurance Company Limited effective April 20.

Joyce West Johnson was appointed to the board of Caribbean Assurance Brokers Limited effective April 1.

Dr Anna Bethune has been appointed as chief strategy officer of EduFocal Limited effective April 4.

Gary Peart’s contract as executive chairman has been renewed for a year and will be compensated in Supreme Ventures Limited shares in lieu of cash.

Market Sales and Events

A senior manager of Supreme Ventures Limited purchased 4,000 shares while two connected parties and a related entity purchased 67,586 shares and 100,000 shares, respectively, from April 26–29. A connected party of Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited (MJE) purchased 164,402 shares for a consideration of $1.9 million. A senior manager of Stationery and Office Supplies Limited purchased 14,036 shares on April 25. A connected party of EduFocal Limited purchased 1,224,893 shares between April 5 and 6.

First Rock Capital Holdings Limited’s 2021 annual report should be submitted by tomorrow. tTech Limited and Caribbean Cement Company Limited expect to submit their 2021 annual reports by May 30 and 31, respectively. Derrimon Trading Company Limited expects to submit its annual report by July 30.

Mayberry Investments Limited’s 2021 audited financials have been delayed to May 16. As a result of the delay the annual report will be published within 30 days of the audited financials publication. MJE expects to submit its annual report by May 30.

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited declared a dividend of US$0.23424657534 or US$575,217.53 to be paid on June 1 to shareholders on record as of May 13.

Massy Holdings Limited will consider an interim dividend on Friday at its board meeting. Panjam Investments Limited will consider an interim dividend at its board meeting next Wednesday. Salada Foods Jamaica Limited will consider an interim dividend payment at its board meeting on May 19.

NCB Financial Group will release its second-quarter earnings on Monday and have its investor briefing on Tuesday.
