Executive & Director Changes

Kayone Haynes Burke and Dr Anna Bethune were made chief financial officer (consulting) and chief strategy officer (acting as interim chief operations officer) of EduFocal Limited, respectively, effective January 1.

Simone Bowie-Jones, attorney-at-law, was appointed as a director of Elite Diagnostic Limited effective January 12 and a member of the audit, corporate governance & compensation committees.

Christopher Yeung has resigned as a director of Dolla Financial Services Limited effective February 23. Dr Michael Banbury was appointed the deputy chairman on the same date.

Stephen Spencer has resigned as the business development manager of FosRich Company Limited effective February 28.

Market Sales & Events

Soho Investments Limited and Jorden Investments Limited purchased 15,000,000 shares each of One-on-One Educational Services Limited at $1.25 on February 13. A senior manager of Barita Investments Limited 66,064 shares under its employee stock ownership plan on February 14 while a senior manager sold 25,016 shares on February 17. A connected party of Massy Holdings Limited purchased 1,631,494 shares at TT$4.50 on February 17 on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE). A connected party of Supreme Ventures Limited sold 27,605 shares on February 20. A connected party of Future Energy Source Company Limited (FESCO) purchased 20,000 shares on February 24. A connected party of Supreme Ventures Limited sold 263 shares on March 2 while another connected party sold 4,065 shares on March 3. An executive of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited sold 17,136 shares on March 6. A connected party of PanJam Investment Limited sold 4,000,000 shares at $56.55 for a consideration of $226.20 million while other connected parties purchased 2,129,724 shares at $56.55 on March 8.

Indies Pharma Jamaica Limited (INDIES) has successfully submitted its abbreviated new drug applications (ANDA-1 (Regadenoson) at the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

FirstRock Real Estate Investments Limited has entered into a development rights agreement and an agreement to acquire lands in New Kingston for US$2,500,000 to build a multi-level commercial property which will also house the FirstRock Group.

VM Wealth Management Limited purchased a five per cent stake of Coldbush Organics in October 2018.

Eppley Caribbean Property Fund – Value Fund had repurchased 386 shares at $46 on February 14 and 120 shares at $42 on February 23 under its share buyback programme.

Jamaica Broilers Group Limited has changed its registrar from PWC Corporate Services Limited to the Jamaica Central Securities Depository Limited effective March 6.

Image Plus Consultants Limited intends to publish its audited financials within 60 days of the financial year end on February 28.

Salada Foods Jamaica Limited will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on April 3 with GraceKennedy Limited holding its AGM on May 31.

Barita Investments Limited, Main Event Entertainment Group Limited and Indies Pharma Jamaica Limited’s 2022 annual reports have been delayed and should be submitted by March 31, April 14 and April 30, respectively.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange Limited will consider a dividend at its board meeting on March 22.

Dr Anna Bethune is Edufocal Limited’s chief strategy officer as of January 1.
