Supligen Max

In April 2023, the Seprod Group via its renowned, much-loved Supligen brand (a dairy-based punch packed with vitamins) released an interesting new expression in the Supligen Max. Supligen Max, packaged in metallic gold and black foil is a combination of the rich original vanilla flavour that consumers have come to know and love with an addition of stout and white overproof rum.

Supligen has remained a staple of the bar scene for many years. No surprise considering Jamaicans are known for their uncanny ability to create great libations like a blend of Supligen Vanilla, stout, rum and oats – that particular libation is what Jamaicans refer to as the ‘Strong Back’. Given that our consumers were already engaged in this activity, we wanted to make life a little simpler so we decided to pursue a ready to drink format in the expression of the Supligen Max. When served over ice, Supligen Max is a refreshing, smooth on the palate beverage. Consumers can further enhance their mixing experiences by adding a little extra of anything they desire.

Supligen Max was released last year at the JMEA Jamaica Expo and its success has been phenomenal … so much so that after the first three months we ran out of stock. It is now our second-best flavour within the portfolio – of course no flavour beats the blue can – vanilla.

With a shelf life of one year, Supligen Max’s rich and robust stout flavour combines the classic Jamaican taste with a dash of sophistication, 12 grams of protein and a subtle kick of five per cent alcohol.
