HANOVER, Jamaica – A 34-year-old man has been charged with rape after he allegedly held a woman against her will with a weapon and sexually assaulted her in Orange Bay, Hanover.
Charged is Collin Campbell, otherwise called ‘Cjay’ of May Day district, Manchester.
Reports are that on June 4, the accused, and two other women who were friends, went to an establishment in Orange Bay where Campbell and the complainant were sharing a room.
It was reported that about 4:05 am, Campbell allegedly held the woman against her will with a knife and sexually assaulted her.
The complainant reported the matter to the police and Campbell was arrested and charged.
