Cornwall College starts U-15 b’ball with win
MONTEGO BAY, St James – Cornwall College made a winning start to the ISSA/Western Conference Under-15 boys basketball competition on Monday, beating York Castle High 58-10 in Montego Bay, St James.
Matai Williams, who was part of the Cornwall College Under-19 team that won one game in the entire season, led all scorers with 32 points.
Today, Herbert Morrison Technical, who had won the Under-16 competition in 2019, will host Holland High in Montego Bay.
On Monday, Cornwall College led 14-0, 24-3 and 32-7 respectively after the first three quarters as they dominated the York Castle team from the start.
Williams also had seven rebounds and three steals as Dejeaun Williams also scored 18 points and had five steals for Cornwall College.
Christian Anders scored four points and had nine rebounds for York Castle and Jahdiel Salmon scored three points.
