Gas prices, diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, August 11, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $4.50, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $209.36 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $214.38 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $224.76 per litre after a decrease of $4.50, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $231.75 per litre down by $0.25.
Kerosene also increased in price by $0.25 and will be sold for $203.30 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $65.18 per litre down by $2.53 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.18 per litre after a decrease of $2.13.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
