Haiti lead Jamaica 2-0 at half-time in Nations League game
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Haiti were leading Jamaica 2-0 at half-time in their Concacaf National League A Group B game at the National Stadium after Don Louicius shocked the hosts with two goals in a three-minute span.
After being forced back into their own half by a confident starting Jamaica team, Haiti, who drew their first game 0-0 against Cuba, struck decisively on the counter as the 22-year-old Louicius scored his first goal at this level.
The Jamaica defence was exposed in the 12th minute when Louicius bullied his way down the left flank and beat the advancing Andre Blake with a well-placed shot into the far corner.
He made it 2-0 three minutes later as the Jamaicans were slow to respond and punished them with another well-placed shot from close range.
