‘Miss Kitty’ to leave Nationwide 90 FM
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Attorney-at-Law and media personality Khadine Hylton, popularly known as “Miss Kitty”, has announced her departure from the airwaves at Nationwide 90 FM effective December 31.
The announcement was made via a press release.
Miss Kitty, a versatile talent in broadcasting and public-speaking engagements, has been host of “Miss Kitty Live” since 2013, an afternoon radio talk show aired weekdays from 3 to 5 pm.
Hylton said the time to leave the station had come. However, she said she is eternally grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the media entity.
Hylton added that she is happy for the role she played in the station’s development and to her Nationwide family, particularly the management and staff and members of her production team.
Miss Kitty highlighted the station’s chief executive officer, Cliff Hughes, who she said has contributed to her growth personally and professionally. She credited him for allowing her the space to gain experience, while strengthening her emotional intelligence.
Miss Kitty also noted that while she is not ready to disclose her next move, she vows to return re-booted, refreshed and re-invigorated. She expressed that she is excited about the future as she intends to “pursue transformational ideas” in alignment with her personal and business goals that she said “will elevate the Miss Kitty brand to stratospheric levels.”
Hylton added, “I owe an eternal debt of gratitude to my fans whom I love so, so, so much and who have helped to make the Miss Kitty brand a house-hold name.
“Yuh know from yuh seh Miss Kitty, Miss Kitty seh you right through like night dew! I wish for all my fans a wonderful, safe Christmas season and a magnificent 2023 in every possible way,” she said.
Her last live show on the station will be aired on Friday, December 23.
