#NationalTrials: Tapped for greatness
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Megan Tapper has punched her ticket to the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary in August after winning the women’s national 100m hurdles title on Sunday.
Tapper, who won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, clocked 12.65 for the win. She had set her personal best of 12.44 in the semi-final on Saturday.
NCAA outdoor champion Ackera Nugent of the University of Arkansas finished second in 12.67.
Former world champion Danielle Williams finished third in 12.82.
