Showers expected across most parishes
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A tropical wave east of Jamaica is expected to move across the island Thursday afternoon into early Friday and bring isolated showers across sections of most parishes.
According to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, north central and eastern parishes should expect isolated morning showers Thursday, while cloudy conditions with periods of sporadic rainfall are expected across hilly and western parishes in the afternoon. Lingering showers are expected in the night mainly across eastern parishes.
Jamaicans are to expect morning showers across south-central and eastern parishes come Friday while afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across central and western parishes. It should be windy along coastal areas.
