#WorldChamps: Anderson, Williams, Tapper through to 100m hurdles semis
EUGENE, Oregon – All three Jamaican women who contested the heats of the 100 metres hurdles at the World Championships on Saturday have advanced to the next round of the event.
National champion Brittany Anderson claimed the top spot in heat one of the event as she crossed the line in 12.59 seconds. She was followed by Canada’s Michelle Harrison (12.95) and Mette Graversgaard of Denmark, who rounded out the top three in 13.04 seconds.
Anderson will be joined by her compatriots Megan Tapper (12.73) and Danielle Williams (12.80) in the semifinals which will take place Sunday, July 24 at 7:10pm Jamaica time.
