Tredegar Park wants police post

PRINCIPAL of the Tredegar Park Primary, Hyacinth Rochester, wants police to establish a post in the community.Cops hot on trail of Tredegar Park killers

“School officials are calling on members of the security forces to establish a  presence in the area so that residents can feel safe,” said Rochester.

She was speaking today at the school which is just a few metres away from where gunmen shot and killed eight persons from two families last Friday.

“The incident has left a toll on the community but despite of the trauma the school is trying to lead the rebuilding process,” she said.

Members of the security forces are maintaining a presence in the community.
