DIGICEL Jamaica is marking its 22nd anniversary today by offering cash and other prizes over the next six weeks.

“Our anniversary is always an extra special occasion to turn up the volume on our gratitude and celebrate with our customers in a very big way,” a company release quotes Digicel Jamaica Chief Executive Officer Stephen Murad.

The gifting, the company said, begins today when prepaid customers get to claim 22 free, local Digicel-to-Digicel minutes, while postpaid customers enjoy 2.2GB of bonus data — all valid for 24 hours.

“As an added bonus, 22 postpaid customers will get a chance to win $22,000 cash, or get a guaranteed pick of 6GB data. Customers can claim these offers in the MyDigicel app, or by dialling *147#,” the company explained.

It said that as part of the extended anniversary celebrations it will reward customers with $40 million in cash and prizes until May 30, 2023.

“Every Digicel customer will have a chance to win daily prizes of $50,000, and weekly prizes of $100,000. Also, 14 lucky customers — one from each parish — will walk away with the grand prize of $1 million each,” the company said.

“To enter to win any of the daily, weekly or grand prizes, prepaid customers must activate a seven-day ‘prime bundle’ or higher, or purchase a new SIM. Customers who switch to Digicel during the promotional period will receive a welcome gift of a three-day ‘prime brawta bundle’ in addition to a chance to win their share of $40 million. Postpaid customers simply need to keep their accounts active for entry into all the draws,” Digicel said.

It added that a planned road tour across the country will give customers opportunities to “grab for $40,000 cash”.
