Mt Salem, Fogo clash in Captain’s Bakery KO

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Senior League outfits Mt Salem United and Fogo United will meet this afternoon at the UDC field at 3:00 pm to decide the third semi-finalist in the St James Football Association’s Captain’s Bakery Knockout.

Mt Salem will start favourites after knocking off two Western Confederation Senior League teams Violet Kickers in the first round play-offs and then defending champions Wadadah last week.

The teams will be seeking to join early qualifiers Granville United and Catherine Hall, the first two semi-finalists.

Catherine Hall hammered Salt Spring United 5-0, while Granville edged Mountain Villa 3-2 to set up a semi-final game on Wednesday.

The fourth semi-finalists will be decided tomorrow between Seba United and their sister club Abes to be played at the UDC field.
