Kanye’s girl Amber Rose copies iconic Grace Jones pose

Just like Grace Jones, Kanye West’s model girlfriend Amber Rose is fast gaining fame for her stunning figure and shaven head.

As the rapper’s launches his new blog KanyeWest.com, he decided to celebrate his new Internet venture by showing off the former stripper’s shapely figure.

In the risqué shot – an out-take from Rose’s Complex magazine shoot last year – the part Italian, part Cape Verdean model recreates Jones’ iconic 1978 pose of her holding a microphone while nearly naked.

The original Jones photo was taken by her former partner Jean-Paul Goude and was published in New York magazine in 1978.

Jones loved the image so much she used it on the front cover of her 1985 compilation album Island Life.

Last year, Rose, 27, recreated a series of Jones album covers for American magazine Complex.

Amazingly, the microphone pose never made the publication, but West clearly decided it was worth being published after putting it on his blog.

The pair started dating exactly a year ago after originally meeting in 2008 when West was engaged to designer Alexis Phifer.

The rapper wanted Rose to star in his Robocop video, but the couple insisted their relationship was purely professional at this stage.

However, after splitting from his fiancée after a six-year on/off relationship, Rose and West got together.

West and Rose briefly split last June, but by July, the pair were back together again.

The Philadelphia-born beauty has an exotic lineage, with her mother hailing from the West African island of Cape Verde and an Italian father.

In the interview with Complex magazine last year, Rose spoke of her bisexuality and stripper past, insisting West doesn’t mind her colourful background.

She said: “Yeah, they label me a bisexual freak stripper that beds Kanye on a daily basis.”

“Amber Rose, the bisexual, dyke, freak,” whatever. I’m extremely open with my sexuality. I can be in love with a woman, I can be in love with a man.

“Kanye knew my life, so when the blogs came out like, “Oh, Kanye do you know she was a stripper, that she used to date girls?” Kanye was like, “Tell me something I don’t know.” Everybody has a life and a past.”

GaGa Looks Devilish

After an exhausting week at work, most people prefer to slip into clothes that are a little more comfortable.

But then Lady GaGa has never been one to follow convention.

The American pop star arrived for dinner on a night off from her tour wearing an even more outlandish outfit than her usual stage attire.

Unfortunately, her devilish, horned headpiece had the effect of making her look as though she was wearing antlers.

But fashion experts suggested it was a tribute to late designer Alexander McQueen.

One of his last collections was called Horn of Plenty.

Models walked the catwalk with their hair sculpted into horns as they showed off the creations last year, in a show dedicated to McQueen’s mother Joyce. She died days before he took his own life earlier this month.

WAGs Queen Posh set to snub the rest of England squad’s spouses at World Cup

She proudly stepped out with her fellow WAGs during the last World Cup.

But it seems Victoria Beckham has rather loftier intentions during this summer’s tournament.

Instead of shopping and sunning herself by the poolside, the 35-year-old and her three sons will be visiting underprivileged children in South Africa.

Beckham is also refusing to stay in the six-star Palace Hotel with the rest of the England team’s wives and girlfriends, and has instead rented a luxury flat in Cape Town’s Camps Bay.

It is understood she made the decision after becoming ‘appalled’ by the affair allegations surrounding players Ashley Cole and John Terry.

Friends say Mrs Beckham will take sons Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz, to visit children around Cape Town as part of her work for charity Save The Children.
