Lady GaGa sports cloaked black outfit at music awards

Lady GaGa sports cloaked black outfit at music awards

— The Wicked Witch of Berlin

From the looks of these pictures, Lady GaGa appeared to have taken inspiration from the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz as she received some awards in Berlin on Tuesday. Minus the tall, pointy hat, green face and crooked nose, the singer showed off a get-up fit for any witch as she collected four platinum gongs for her album The Fame Monster.

GaGa, 24, also ditched the brassy blonde locks she has shown off in recent weeks for a grey tinge on her more natural-looking hair colour. She was at a photocall at the O2 World Arena in the German capital where she also received three Echo Awards that she missed out on in March as she was unable to attend. She was given the accolades for Best International Female Artist, Best Single Of The Year for Poker Face and Best International Newcomer. While the outfit was true to form for the headline-grabbing star, she might want to rethink her wardrobe for the next awards ceremony she attends, with the ability to walk in it being her top priority. GaGa had to be helped on stage by a member of the crew as she struggled to walk in her platform shoes, which had no heels. On reaching the stage, she grabbed on tightly to the ceremony’s host, but managed to stay on her tiptoes as she collected her ECHOs, a German music award given every year by The German Phonographic Academy.

Battle of the hemlines: Kim & Khloe Kardashian compete for attention in super short skirts

The Kardashian women are famous for their womanly curves, and the sisters competed to show them off on Tuesday as they headed out for dinner in Los Angeles. The evening turned into a battle of the hemlines as Kim, 29, and Khloé, 25, bared their legs in thigh-high outfits.

Kim wore a pale yellow dress with a sheer neckline, while Khloé wore a crisp white blouse and rosary, with a skimpy black leather mini. Older sister Kourtney, 31, declined joining in the leg-baring contest, opting instead for a flattering black jumpsuit. All three sisters wore expensive Christian Louboutins for their evening. Their mother Kris also joined them, as they treated themselves to dinner at Mr Chow in Beverly Hills after an appearance at clothing store Kitson where they signed autographs for fans.

Rapper Gucci Mane Freed From Atlanta Jail

Rapper Gucci Mane was released from an Atlanta jail early yesterday after serving a six-month sentence for violating his probation on an assault charge. The rapper whose real name is Radric Davis went to jail just as his latest album, The State vs. Radric Davis , which features the likes of Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Keri Hilson, Usher and Keyshia Cole was being released.

The rapper also said that he has launched a new label, 1017 Brick Squad Records, in affiliation with Asylum/Warner Brothers Records, and revealed that he will be recording in collaboration with up-and-coming rapper Wacka Flocka Flame very soon. Mane said his new album, The Appeal , is scheduled for a summer release and he will begin a nationwide tour in July to promote it.
