Lady GaGa imitates talk show host Larry King
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
But we’re not sure what Larry King made of Lady GaGa’s attempt to emulate his image as she appeared on his programme last night. The Telephone singer, 24, wore a white shirt, black braces and a black tie as she appeared opposite veteran talk show host King, 76, who was dressed in a black shirt, white braces and a white polka dot tie. And she had even styled her blonde locks into a short style in an attempt to copy the veteran broadcaster’s haircut — before he donned a pair of black sunglasses to copy her.
The singer was a guest via a live satellite link-up of King’s on his 25th anniversary show Tuesday night. During the interview, GaGa spoke about her rise to fame, her fascination with Princess Diana and how she was recently tested “borderline positive” with the disease lupus.
She also revealed that she had been asked to be Michael Jackson’s opening act on his This Is It tour, which he was planning when he died suddenly aged 50 last June. Gaga was also forthcoming about being tested “borderline positive” for the potentially terminal immune disease lupus and is now very vigilant of her health. She said: “Lupus is in my family, and it is genetic. The truth is I don’t show any signs, any symptoms of lupus, but I have tested borderline positive for the disease. So as of right now I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself.”

Paris Hilton gets raunchy after being called up on stage to accompany R’n’B star Ne-Yo
If there’s one person who’s not afraid to grab a chance to bask in the limelight it’s Paris Hilton.
Ne-Yo was performing at Surrender nightclub in Las Vegas when he ventured into the audience and found Miss Hilton, 29, before inviting her onstage to show off her moves. And, while Ne-Yo sang Miss Independent, Paris performed a rather raunchy routine, which involved pulling her short gold and black dress up and almost showing her backside to the audience at the Las Vegas club.
Of course, the socialite was thrilled with her moment in the spotlight, taking to her Twitter page to share her delight. She tweeted: “So amazing last night when Ne-Yo took me onstage during his performance of my favourite song Miss Independent. I love when lyrics ring true.”

Taylor Swift brings act to a dramatic climax with an on-stage downpour
Taylor Swift has quickly become one of the country music scene’s biggest stars and she has an extravagant stage show to match, as she proved when she performed in Toronto last night.
Not content with an array of different outfits, the 20-year-old incorporated a Singing In The Rain-inspired routine into the show at the Air Canada Centre, which was part of her Fearless Tour. Taylor performed her final song as a cascade of water poured from above, drenching her while she sang the final encore — Should’ve Said No. She told her excited audience: “I think it’s entirely possible that I’ve fallen in love with you after two songs. And I think that it’s that kind of deep, pure love that lasts forever. I love you like I love burning my ex-boyfriend’s pictures.” Swift once dated Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers before he famously broke up with her via text messaging.
