Putting on a brave face: Singer Christina Milian stepped out with baby Violet in Los Angeles over the weekend after her husband was seen frolicking with a woman

Christina Milian splits from husband

five months after birth of daughter Violet

Singer Christina Milian’s marriage to Grammy-winning producer The-Dream is over after just 10 months, his spokesperson has confirmed.

This comes just five months after the pair welcomed their first child, Violet Madison Nash.

The split was announced after photos surfaced of The-Dream – real name, Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash – holidaying with a mystery brunette, where the two were seen flirtatiously frolicking in the Caribbean surf.

It has been claimed that the pair’s marriage actually ended late last year, but they decided to keep it private to protect their daughter, who was born on February 26.

A spokesperson for the The-Dream, 29, told Us Weekly: “They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”

The pair married in Las Vegas in September 2009 just weeks before Milian announced her pregnancy.

The-Dream, who co-wrote and co-produced Beyonce’s hit song, Single Ladies, also has three children with ex-wife Nivea.

Penélope Cruz secretly marries Javier Bardem in front of their families in The Bahamas

Spain’s leading actors Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem have tied the knot in a secret ceremony in front of family and friends.

A representative for the couple confirmed the marriage to U.S. magazine Life & Style.

The couple wed in front of a small group of family members at a friend’s house in the Bahamas in early July. Oscar-winning actress Cruz, 36, wore a dress by John Galliano.

The low-profile couple quietly began dating in 2007 as they filmed ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’, but have tried to keep their romance out of the spotlight.

They had been the subject of repeated engagement rumours in recent weeks, but declined to comment on the stories.

Cruz has previously said that while she is uncertain about marriage, she is very keen to have children: ‘I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.’

Cruz and Bardem have been friends for nearly 20 years after working together on the Spanish film ‘Jamon Jamon’, when the actress was just 19.

Bardem, recently finished filming ‘Eat, Love, Pray’ with Julia Roberts, while Cruz is working on ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’, the fourth installment of the popular Disney franchise.

Luxury Los Angeles house Marilyn Monroe died in goes up for sale for $3.6m

The Los Angeles home that Marilyn Monroe was found dead in 48 years ago has gone up for sale for US$3.6million.

Located in the luxurious Brentwood suburb, the Spanish revival home comes complete with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and an outdoor swimming pool.

The actress bought the property in 1962 for US$90,000, living there only six months before she was found dead in her bedroom from an overdose of barbiturates.

The one-storey property, built in 1929, spreads lavishly over 23,000sq ft of land, and is dubbed the ‘crown jewel’ of the neighbourhood.

Given that Monroe memorabilia are highly coveted, the weighty price tag of the house comes as no surprise. Even a burial spot near the star’s last resting place at LA’s Westwood Village Memorial Park was sold on the online auction website eBay in 2009 for a staggering US$4.6million.

Monroe died on August 5, 1962, at the age of 36. Her death was classified as a ‘probable suicide’, however the possibility of an accidental overdose and even homicide have not been ruled out.
