What are your earliest memories of Kingston?
It was my first beach experience with my wife Fanny to Lime Cay and the kind welcome at the Jamaica Transport Authority.
What do you miss when you are not in Kingston?
My dog named “Rasta”.
What has been your best experience in Kingston to date?
My job.
And what’s the best thing about being a diplomat in Kingston?
The way Jamaica facilitates you performing your duties.
What are your favourite home comforts?
My music room.
What would you do if you were mayor (of Kingston) for a day?
Thankfully, I’ll never have that opportunity.

I am not a heavy user of cologne but I do have bottles of Armani, Dior and Dunhill that I use at random.

Depending on the time of day, water, wine or Scotch.
What was your most memorable meal in Kingston?
Ackee and saltfish.
What upsets you?
Sometimes, the traffic jams.

There are many, but especially the homes of Jamaican friends both in town and in the country.
What’s your advice to a first-time visitor to Kingston?
Enjoy the Jamaican people, reggae music and the Blue Mountain coffee.
