On Saturday, the money godess, Macka Diamond, took the day to celebrate her birthday on Waves Beach Portmore.

What started off as an exciting funday with activities including wet T-shirt contest for the ladies and football competions for the men, slowly evolved into one of the hotest beach parties.

The artiste whose real name is Charmaine Munroe promised an event that would be “straight up partying until you tired,” and she delivered just that. Setting the pace and a fashion statement in a sexy white bikini the artiste showed that although she was entering into her fourth decade on earth she was just as versatile on the dancefloor as any Latisha, Mad Michelle, or Mumselle.

In the VIP section, dancehall artistes Beenie Man, Future Fambo and other well-wishers sipped on their favourite drinks and shared moments with the birthday girl. On the outside, the vibe was even crazier as patrons invaded the beach, showing off the latest dance moves, most of which required sexy and outrageous bodily contact, all this to the pulsating dancehall and hip hop music provided by Rennasiance, Foota Hype, Rolex, Supa Hype and Chromatic.

Soon it was time for the birthday girl to cut her cake and what better person to seranade her with a birthday song than the King of the dancehall Beenie Man. Toast and well wishes came from a lot including selector Foota Hype, Lady D of News Talk FM and Dancers Latisha and Mumselle.
