Gas prices up $0.95, diesel up $2.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, January 4, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $121.04 and $123.88 per litre, respectively, up by $0.95 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $122.48 per litre following an increase of $2.50, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $2.65, and will be sold for $127.11 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $2.74 and will be sold for $103.11 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $49.99 per litre, up by $0.78 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $53.28 per litre after an increase of $2.16.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
