Weather Update: Trough continues to affect Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (Met Service) is reporting that periods of showers and mostly cloudy conditions are expected to persist across Jamaica today as a trough remains in the western Caribbean.
The Met Service also said, a cold front is expected to enter the region and will further enhance shower activity particularly across northern and southwestern parishes over the weekend.
According to the Met Office, this morning should see mostly cloudy and isolated showers across sections of eastern parishes.
Come this afternoon, widely scattered showers are expected mainly across central and western parishes.
Tonight is expected to be mostly cloudy across eastern and south central parishes while elsewhere will be partly cloudy.
