Gas prices up $1.47, diesel down $0.10
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, January 18, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $122.24 and $125.08 per litre, respectively, up by $1.47 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $122.40 per litre following a decrease of $0.10, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.52, and will be sold for $127.58 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $0.27 and will be sold for $104.39 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $47.00 per litre, down by $1.83 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $49.38 per litre after a decrease of $0.58.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
