Ex-con murdered in St Andrew
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — An ex-convict was shot dead by unknown assailants in Olympic Gardens, St Andrew yesterday.
Dead is 34-year-old Jonathan Eccleston otherwise called “Solid” from Linstead, St Catherine.
According to reports, Eccleston, who was released from prison last December, was walking along a dirt track located beside the Olympic Garden Civic Centre where he was pounced upon by armed men who shot him multiple times.
The shooting happened about 6:15 pm the police said.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
