Wanted man among four arrested in St Andrew
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — A wanted man was among four men arrested this morning in an operation in Long Wall, Stony Hill, St Andrew, the police have reported.
Three of the men are from West Kingston addresses and the other is from a St Thomas address.
Police said the men were taken into custody about 10:30 am; however their identities are being withheld pending further questioning in relation to several major crimes committed in the Kingston Western Division and other areas.
The police also reported that, hours after arresting the men an operation was carried out in Matthews Lane, Kingston where a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol with one 9mm cartridge was seized.
However it was not disclosed if the gun find has any relation to the arrest of the men.
